Can UV glue be used on the camera?

Components of the camera
The camera is composed of an optical glass lens. The optical glass is made of high-purity silicon, boron, sodium, potassium, zinc, lead, magnesium, calcium, barium and other oxides mixed according to a specific formula, melted in a platinum crucible at high temperature, and ultrasonic Stir evenly and remove bubbles; then slowly cool down over a long period of time to avoid internal stress in the glass block. The cooled glass block must be measured by optical instruments to check whether the purity, transparency, uniformity, refractive index and dispersion rate meet the specifications. The qualified glass block is heated and forged to form an optical lens blank.

The light-curing adhesives used in the assembly of camera modules and optical lenses need to withstand the harsh environment of humidity, high temperature and strong impact that are often found in electronic products, and the products generally need to meet the following conditions:

1. Low shrinkage: The introduction of an active focus process during the assembly of the camera module lens base and the circuit board can effectively solve the problem of product yield and enable the lens to produce the best focus quality on the entire image plane. Before using light-cured parts, first adjust the lens three-dimensionally, measure the best position, and then complete the final curing by light and heating. If the shrinkage rate of the adhesive used is less than 1%, it is not easy to cause the lens position shift.
2. Low coefficient of thermal expansion: The coefficient of thermal expansion is abbreviated as CTE, which refers to the regularity coefficient that the geometric characteristics of a substance change with the change of temperature under the effect of thermal expansion and contraction. The camera used for outdoor work may encounter the situation of sudden rise/fall in the ambient temperature. If the thermal expansion coefficient of the adhesive is too high, the lens may lose focus and affect the operation.
3. It can be cured at low temperature: the raw material of the camera module cannot be baked at high temperature for a long time, otherwise some components may be damaged or the performance will be affected. If the adhesive can be cured quickly at a low temperature of 80°C, it can avoid component loss and improve product yield.
4. LED curing: Compared with traditional curing equipment, the high-pressure mercury lamp and metal halide lamp have a service life of only 800 to 3,000 hours, while the lamp tube of UV-LED ultraviolet curing equipment has a service life of 20,000-30,000 hours, and no ozone is produced during operation. , Which can reduce energy consumption by 70% to 80%. Most light-curing adhesives use LED curing equipment to achieve initial curing in only 3 to 5 seconds.
