We are pleased to introduce WT1200 Rosin Tackifier Emulsion, a new addition to our water-based tackifier product range. Developed for water-based adhesive formulations, WT1200 combines strong tackifying performance with enhanced bio-based characteristics, providing adhesive manufacturers with another option for balancing performance and sustainability requirements.

WT1200 vs. 110 Rosin Tackifier Emulsion
Compared with our established 110 grade, WT1200 delivers a more noticeable tackifying effect in many water-based adhesive systems. It can help improve initial tack, adhesion performance, and overall bonding efficiency, making it suitable for applications where stronger tack is required.
Another important advantage of WT1200 is its higher bio-based attribute. With increasing demand for lower-carbon and more sustainable adhesive raw materials, WT1200 can provide relevant data support for customers conducting Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and carbon-footprint evaluation. This makes it particularly attractive for adhesive manufacturers looking to increase the renewable content of their formulations and support sustainability-related product development.
There is, however, an important formulation consideration. Compared with the 110 grade, WT1200 has a slightly broader particle-size distribution. Depending on the adhesive formulation and production process, formulators may need to evaluate its compatibility, storage stability, viscosity behavior, and final adhesive performance through laboratory testing.
Which Grade Should You Choose?
For customers prioritizing strong tackifying efficiency and bio-based content, WT1200 is an excellent option to evaluate. For formulations where a more uniform particle-size distribution is particularly important, the 110 grade remains a reliable choice.
Both grades are designed for water-based adhesive systems, allowing formulators to select the most suitable tackifier according to their specific performance, processing, and sustainability requirements.
